Common questions

Answers to common questions

Here you will find calm, factual answers about requests, the process, costs and languages. For anything else, feel free to reach out without obligation via the contact form.

How does an appointment request work?
You send us a non-binding request via the contact form, stating your concern, your preferred language and – if you have one – a preferred psychologist. Your request goes straight to the responsible person on the team, who will get back to you promptly to arrange a first, get-to-know-you appointment.
What happens in the first session?
In the first session you describe your concern in a calm setting. Together we look at what it is about, answer your questions about the process and check the mutual fit. There is no obligation – you then decide, in your own time, whether and how you would like to continue.
How do costs and health insurance work?
Whether and how costs are covered depends on the individual practitioner and on your insurance status – statutory, private or self-payment. Please state your insurance status in your request; the responsible person will explain the specific terms transparently before any treatment begins.
Do you also offer video consultations?
Yes. In addition to in-person appointments at the practice, many of our colleagues also offer sessions by video. You receive a secure link for this; all you need is an internet-enabled device with a camera and a quiet, undisturbed space. We will discuss together whether video support is suitable for your concern.
Which languages is therapy offered in?
We support you in German, Turkish and English. Each team profile shows which languages that person offers – so you can find support in the language in which you feel most comfortable expressing yourself.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Availability varies from person to person. Each profile shows a note about current capacity – places available, limited, or waiting list. If your preferred person has no free place right now, we are happy to suggest a colleague with a suitable focus.
What applies if I need to cancel an appointment?
Please cancel an arranged appointment as early as possible so the slot can be made available to others. The specific cancellation notice periods are discussed transparently with you by the individual practitioner at the start of your work together.
